Paintings from Canada, Finland and Norway
I am a French-Canadian multidisciplinary artist currently living in Norris Point located in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland since 2019. I am a second-generation painter and printmaker, the son of Daniel Gautier a well-known maritime painter and I grew up in a landscape of poetic depiction. I pursue the light, the horizon and the nature. My paintings are archives of my memories with a touch of imagination, heart and contemplation. I also lived in Northern Finland for a decade and the arctic light have greatly influenced my palette over the years.
